Piero Formica, winner of the Innovation Luminary Award 2017, started his career at the OECD Economic Prospects Division in Paris, then moving to academic institutions. Professor Formica is Senior Research Fellow at the Innovation Value Institute, Maynooth University, Ireland. His most recent published work is Entrepreneurial Renaissance: Cities Striving Towards an Era of Renaissance and Revival, Springer, 2017.
