Arts - 10 Ottobre 2020 In Italy, “The Show Must Go On.” But What About in America? La Scala, like all Italian theaters in this period was strewn with notices on the seats where a spectator cannot sit; only family members can sit next to each other. The terrible virus, which has locked down every sort of theatrical event activity from March to June 2020, continues to circulate among us. However, there were and still are, measures to deal with the virus, and Italians are adhering to them with discipline and rigor. This has made it possible to hold summer festivals, and starting in October, to reopen schools, movie theaters and museums. Performances will continue in November as well.
